Traveller's Tales

When I was a student in Wellington, I made a trip south to Dunedin. I didn't have much money then but I knew that money would be banked-in into my account in two days by the NZ government. Two days later, I walked into the BNZ office in Dunedin to make a withdrawal I was already broke by then and I needed the money for the fare back to Wellington..The teller asked for my ID but I forgot to bring it. I pleaded with her but she insisted on ID. Desperate, I started taking off my wind-breaker, pull-over, shirt piece by piece to show the teller the university T shirt I was wearing beneath hoping that she would accept it in place of ID. People in the bank watched in amazement. The teller was amused. I got the money finally
