World No 1 Nuisance

United States of America is World's No. 1 Nuisance. Many of the things they do affect us a great deal for example:
1. Oil Price - American wars push up oil price in America as well as in other parts of the world. The increase makes life difficult except for those working with Petronas who stand to get a bigger annual bonus
2 Recession - somebody probably the Jews manipulate the Wall Street that results in financial hiccups throughout the world. We in Malaysia have to pay a higher interest rate for car financing
3. Wars on Islam - which are Jews instigated bring death, destruction and hardship in some countries in the Islamic World
4. Environment - America is one of the world's worst polluters that has caused global warming that will in turn cause adverse weather condition, flooding and drought.

In spite of all this, America is a necessary evil. We need their technology and the many scientific break through they have made. We depend on them to shoot down any asteroid on collusion course with earth.

Common Penal Code

Many years ago, a woman from the Saudi Royal Family was put to death after being convicted of adultery. The West was horrified at what they considered a babaric law. Appeals from all over the Western World poured in requesting for defferement of sentence.

The West would be horrified once again with the following quotations from the Bible.

John 8:4 "This woman was caught in adultery in the act"
John 8:5 "Now Moses in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned"

In Islam as well as in Christianity, it is difficult to convict an adulterer. Islam requires four credible witnesses, which is difficult to find. As for Christianity, only a person free of sin can throw the stone. The Bible says "He who is without sin among you let him throw a stone at her first" John 8:8 which is also difficult to find.

This is one place where Islam and Christianity have a common penal code.

Sarah Palin

Republican never seems to get things right. The latest blunder is McCain's choice of running mate, Sarah Palin. I knew from the start she wasn't ready. Then Collin Powell said it again. Boy, I beat Powell in saying it first. Hugo Chavez does not take Palin seriously either . He forgave her for calling him a dictator. He said she didn't know what she was talking. Imagine if George were to call Chavez a dictator. Chavez would blow up and hit the ceiling.

Palin's political career is over. I would like to give her an unsolicited one dime advice; quit running for public office, Quit that Alaska job. Get into advertising for eye wear. She looks dazzling in those glasses. Fill up bill boards with Palin wearing glasses, from Alaska to Malaysia. She can also endorse wigs - the Sarah Palin wigs. Women love them.

She can also get into the TV talk show like Operah. Invite previous candidates who lost election to appear on the show - John Kerry, Al Gore. George can also join in. After all he has been a comedian for eight years. Alternatively start a TV series like the once popular Little House on the Prarie. Only this time call it Little Cabin in Alaska. The theme:Gold rush days like Johny Horton's North To Alaska. Palin's experience as a moose-shooting mama would help.

John, According to Islam

I have read the "Gospel According to John" so now I would like to say something about "John According to Islam". John was the son of Zachariah and a contemporary of Jesus. The community at the time of his birth was in turmoil in which many people did not pay heed to the teaching of the Torah. The Bible John 7:19 says "Did not Moses give you the law? But none of you keep it" John, however undertook the study of the Torah until he became an authority in it. He was often consulted in matters relating to the laws in the Torah and in fact he was often asked to settle disputes among people.

John was forever asking people to repent for their sins they committed. It was customary for him to bathe repenters in the water of the Jordan River. For this he earned the nick name of John the Baptist.

A Palestine king Hirodus wanted to marry a close relative Hirodia. John pointed out that such marriage was not allowed under the law of the Torah. As a result, the King had John and Zachariah put to death.

John in the Bible however made some contravening statements which are against the tenet of Islam. One such statement is " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not parish but have everlasting life John 3:16". Surely John or his Muslim name Yahya, could not have said such blasphemy

Good Guys, Bad Guys

Why are some guys good and some are bad? What makes them what they are? Is it the environment that shapes their characters? Or is it God that predetermines every thing? The answer to these questions is NO. Man is the creature of choice. The decision to be good or bad rests on him alone. The Koraan has something to say about this. In Chapter 14 verse 4, it says among other things "........
God lets go astray him that wills to go astray and guides him that wills to be guided". In exercising his free choice, man can choose between being guided and not being guided. If he chooses to be good and be guided, he gets the satisfaction he is doing the right thing and at the same time he pleases God. On the other hand if he chooses to do the wrong thing, he is not only deprived of guidance but earns the displeasure of God. Again in Chapter 17 Verse 7 the Koraan says "If you persevere in doing good, you will be doing good to yourself and if you do evil, it will done to yourself ". To illustrate the last part of the verse, I would like to give an example. A person who commits a crime besides getting a jail term also damages his standing before God. This is the evil that he inflicts on himself. To a good Muslim, one's standing before God must be upheld at all cost.

Heaven and Earth

The first verse of Genesis says " In the begining God created heaven and earth" Further down the line in verse 7 it says 'God made the firmemant......." The dictionary gives the meaning of firmemant as the solid sphere in which the stars were thought to be fixed. In the next verse God called the firmemant, heaven. So that is heaven according to the Bible.

The Koraan also tells us the creation of heaven and earth. However heaven in the Koraan refers to the universe as a whole.
'Heaven and earth were once single entity which We then parted asunder" So said the Koraan in 21:30. Modern science says the entity subsequently consolidated by gravity and then separated into individual nebulae, galaxies and solar system.

In Chapter 51 Verse 47, God says "It is We who have built the universe with our creative power and verily it is We who have steadily expanding it". When the Koraan first talked about expanding universe no body understood it then until recently when scientist started making this discovery.

Astronomy is an amazing subject where one gets to witness the granduer and the majesty of creation

Chapter 2 Verse 190

The Iraqi are fighting the American because of the following Standing Order in the Quraan Chapter 2 Verse 190 that reads:

"AND FIGHT in God's cause against those who wage war against you but do not commit aggression for God does not love the aggressors"

The Iraqi have a clear cut case. What about the American? Could the Commander in Chief cite a Biblical verse that allows him to invade Iraq?. If it is to bring democracy to Iraq, then that is wrong because the act of invasion itself is undemocratic. If democracy means following the will of the majority, then American should leave Iraq because that's what the majority wants. Incidentally that is also what the majority of American want. Which law are the American following? The earthly law or the divine law? Invasion is like forcing one's way into somebody's house, kill the occupants and cart away their belongings. Another name for this is gangsterism or state sponsored terrorism.

The Commander in Chief may get away with it on earth but he can't get away on Judgement Day, if he believes in it. He should spend the rest of his life in repentance. The easiest way is to say sorry to the Iraqi who lost their loved ones. A public apology is good enough

Protest at US Embassy

Some time in 2003. I was glued to my TV set and stared in disbelief as American cruise missiles rained death and destruction on Baghdad, a Muslim heritage city. I switched off the TV. Who was the idiot who authorized the filming of the carnage and showed it over the TV net work. May be the American enjoyed the scene the way they once enjoyed shooting buffaloes from moving train in Wyoming.

I sent a curt protest note to the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. The text "Please be warned as of today Americans entering the State of Terengganu will be shot on sight". I have a feeling the bluff worked. To think about it, I didn't even have a gun. Even if I had, I would not shoot an innocent man the way American shoot innocent Arabs without any feeling of guilt or remorse. Since then, I had not seen a single American in town. Any way I was not out on the streets all the time. But I made it a point whenever possible I would speak to the tourists I met to find out where they were from.

Today I am wondering why my daughter who was travelling to Tennessee was detained for 30 minutes at Chicago O' Hare. Was it because of my Muslim name on her passport that had somehow crept into the airport data base. Or was it because with her head uncovered, the photograph in the pass port did not match. This is another example of American obsession with security - such insecure people!

Great Teachers

I am a Muslim but I visit Christian web sites occationaly. I am glad to hear that my Christian brethern praise the wisdom of Jesus and consider him the world's greatest teacher. From where did Jesus get all these wisdom? He never went to college and he never got tutored by great philosophers. Jesus, as all prophets, were tutored by God Himself. God is the fount of everything - wisdom, knowledge, mercy etc. So for all the wisdom brought by Jesus, credit should be given to God.

Many centuries before Jesus, the world witnessed the coming of two great teachers. Budha in India and Confucious in China. They taught on a wide spectrum of topics - ethic, morality etc. Long after their teaching spread, a new phenomena started. Statues of Budha and Confucious were made and placed on altars in temples and homes. And people started praying to them !? Is the substance of their original teaching being preserved the way their statues are preserved?

Could the wisdom of Jesus go the same way as those of Budha and Confucious?

Education of Presidents

Education and previous job experience of a president can determine his foreign policies. George Bush graduated with an MBA and he got into the oil business. When he became president, he was still an oil man and he tried to control the oil wells in the Middle East. He probably looks at his presidency as a business under taking.

George was not a bright student at the university. He admitted it himself. One day he was giving a talk to a group of students. He told them he was a walking proof that a grade C student could still become president!. It is no wonder that his foreign policies are so stupid. Once he was considering of bombing Iran but he could not see beyond the White House lawn, the consequence of taking such action.

John McCain was a soldier. It is the only job he knows best. That is why he talks about American victory in Iraq, if elected. What victory? It is an unwinable war of George Bush.

Barrack Obama has a law degree from Harvard and he practiced law in Chicago. So when he becomes president, he knows what is legal and what is illegal. He knows invading a foreign country is illegal but Bush thinks it is OK as long as there is profit to be made

Obama would make a good president if he isn't screwed up by the Jews on the way

Presidential Misdemeanours

The misdemeanours of Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton were relatively insignificant when compared to that of George W.Bush. Yet Nixon was impeached for unauthorized listening to private telephone conversations and Clinton was treatened with impeachment for messing around with Monica Lewinsky. Bush on the other hand has a much longer list of misdemeanours among which was lying to the American people. He knowingly obliterated CIA Reports that Iraq did not have WMD, was not a treat to America nor was it involved in 9/11.

Surely there must have been a move to impeach Bush but nothing happened. so far . I suspect the Jews had been "protecting" him all along. So the real treat to America is Israel not Iraq. American do not see all this. They are blinded by religious sentimentality. The belief that Jews gave American, Christianity is strong. So is the belief that the second coming of Jesus would take place in Israel. So, the reasoning goes, the "infidel" Arabs should be kept out of the holy land Israel, when Jesus arrives.

8 years of George W.Bush

THE AMERICAN

1. Lost their homes to mortgages
2. Lost their jobs to economic down turn
3. Lost their tax money to pay for foreign wars and to bail out Wall Street
4. Lost their loved ones - more than 4,000 of them - in foreign wars
5. Lost their popularity in the world
6. Lost part of their freedom and privacy

THE MUSLIM WORLD

1. Lost their countries in American invasions
2. Lost their loved ones - more than a million of them - victims of American bombs
3. Lost their homes to American bombs
4. Lost their economic infra structures to American bombs
5. Lost their jobs to the resulting economic turmoil
6. Lost their pride and dignity

And the winner isssssssss, the devil in George W.Bush

If I were US President

If I were the president next year, here is my must-do list

1. Put the following people on trial for crime against humanity - George W.Bush, Dick Cheney,
Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowich
2. Nationalize banks to prevent another credit crunch
3. Disband America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)
4. Bring home the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan

13. Bring United States into the community of nations by participating in UN programs
14. By doing this United States will get back the respect it once had

Mahathir and the American

Once stories were rife about what happened when the ex-Malaysian Prime Minister Dr.Mahathir, checked into a hotel in Tokyo where the ex-American president Bill Clinton was staying. Clinton on learning that Mahathir was in the same hotel, sent for him because he had something to say. To this Mahathir retorted if Clinton wanted to tell him something, he should be the one to come to his room. We don't know whether these two former head of governments met each other or not. Their actions speak volume about their personalities. Clinton was used to telling other governments what to do. And Mahathir was used to "Return Fire" every time he was shot at. It was a carry over of their previous experience.

There was another story of Mahathir's craftiness. He was reluctant to endorse the first gulf war of Bush Sr. Mahathir was out of the country and the American chased him all over the globe. to get his signature . Finally they caught him in Tokyo. Mahathir agreed to put his signature on condition that American increase their investment in Malaysia.

So that is how deals are closed at international level!

Financial Mess

Once we had a world financial system that worked very well. Today it is no longer so. There must be some body, inspired by greed, who manipulated the system - a grand conspiracy of sort. People are quick to point accusing fingers at the Jews, who we all know control world banking.

I am no economist but I dare say the financial collapse, shows the weakness of the capitalist system spear headed by United States. The collapse would not have happened under socialist system where state interest prevails over group interest.

I have personal reason to be worried. My daughter has just started work as an engineer in a factory that manufactures electronic products for the markets in North America and Europe. Looking at the situations there, they might not be able to pay for their import from Malaysia. The factory here might have to be closed down. Then lay-off

Financial mess on a much smaller scale happened here in 1997. It was caused by hedge fund people - the currency traders and George Soros was one of them, according to Dr.Mahathir

"Islam Enemy of the West"

Another link on my blog tells about a book "Islam Enemy of the West" written by a man learned in Christianity but totaly ingnorant of Islam. I gather this from his on-line question and answer session. How could he percieve Islam to be an enemy? Is he influenced by George Bush's perception of Islam as terrorists? The only violent part of Islamic teaching is when God made it mandatory for Muslims to fight off invaders who come to take their homelands.

I can think of two reasons of why the West hates Islam. Islam disagrees with Christianity over a few things such as the Christian belief in the original sin, the divinity of Jesus, trinity and the way to salvation. We get into this line of thinking because the Christian "Father" is actually our God Allah and the "son" is actually our revered prophet Isa. I think the West is also afraid of conversion. They have valid reason to feel that way because Islam is the fastest growing religion in North America and Europe. To the West Islam is a very burdensom restrictive religion. One has to get up at dawn to perform the first prayer of the day. Then there is fasting during Ramadhan - going to Mecca and so on. Muslim are prevented from doing things that the West consider their freedom

When one comes to understand Islam, he would love it. Leopold Weist was the son of a rabbi who converted to Islam and took the name of Muhammad Assad. He spent 40 years of his life translating the Quraan into English. That was indeed a labor of love

Birth of Jesus Again?

Some Christian links appear next to my blog every now and then. One of the links maintains the divinity of Jesus by saying that there is no way a woman can get pregnant without the participation of man. When Mary got pregnant, she was not sired by God. This is a blasphemy . What the Bible does not tell us, is that God has full control over every atom in the universe and all that He needs to do is to command those atoms to form whatever He wills including to make Mary pregnant.

The Quraan tells us Mary's mother prayed to the Lord for a son who would take care of the temple one day. However the mother was blessed with a daughter, Mary. Nevertheless a son, Jesus, was born to Mary in answer to the prayer of Mary's mother. As for the spirit of God endowed to the infant Jesus, he was not the only one who got this gift of God. Everybody else has it too given to him when he is three months old in the womb. That is why we get this awareness of God, Lord Father whatever. God does things according to conventional scientific laws - God's Laws rather - but He know all the short cuts just as in the case of Mary's pregnancy. We don't know these short cuts.

I am reminded of a TV show in America. Somebody was introducing Larry King to the audience. He said "Larry is the most virile man in America and a woman can get pregnant just by sitting next to him". God of course does not work this way.

Of Revealation and Tradition

A Revealation is a holy book revealed by God to mankind through His prophets Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Today the only revealation that still remains intact is the Holy Quraan. It's contents revealed 1,400 years ago remain unchanged. The Quraan one finds in Tehran is exactly the same as the one we find in Malaysia.

Another book on religious edicts often consulted by the Muslims is the Hadiths or Tradition. It is a collection of stories of what Prophet Muhammad did or said in his life time. Some of the stories in the Hadith or Tradition can be taken as true and some are false.

I have gone through the Bible - Old and New Testaments - superficially though and my over- all general impression is that the present day Bible is not a revelation of the same class as the Quraan but rather it is closer to Hadith or Tradition of previous prophets . Such being the case, some of the stories in the Bible are true and some might not be so.

In Islam a Hadith carries the name of the writer. So are the four Gospels in the Bible that carry the names of John, Luke, Mark and Matthew.

President Obama

Obama's presidency is good for American as well as for people in the rest of the world. His plan of economic recovery has a better chance of success than that of McCain's. Obama believes that the American economy is tied down to the rest of the world. A sickly American economy could affect other countries especially its trading partners, like Malaysia.

In foreign policy, I think Obama is more civil than McCain. McCain believes in the doctrine of Shoot First and Ask Questions Later - a carry over of Bush's unilateralism stance. Whereas Obama believes in Talk First and Starts Shooting later if the talk fails.

United States could once again be a respected country if it could shake off the Jews who are clingging on its back and telling the host what to do. If I heard it correctly Obama said he would reduce the influence of the lobby. Which lobby? The Israel lobby? If that is so, its good news.

I also hope the election on Nov.4 would be a clean one. Malaysia should send observers to make sure it is so. After all America has been sending observers to observe other countries' elections

Advice to US President

I have some advice for whoever becomes the next president of United States. next year. My first advice is round up the perpetrators of 9/11 holed up in Afghanistan. When that is done, get the hell out of the country. It is mission accomplished. The war is supposed to be to catch these bad guys, Nothing beyond that. Send these guys for trial at the Hague. That is the only place they can get a fair trial and justice done. The Hague, has successfully deliberated and arbitrated many cases in the past such as the Malaysia/ Singapore claim over the island of Pedra Blanca.

My second advice is about the Arab/Israeli conflict. The problem is basically a squable over ownership of the Biblical/ Quraanic Promised Land. Set up a tribunal to establish the legal heir to this land. It should consist of the best brain that can speak for Israel and the best brain to speak for Islam. Please no politics. To me both the Jews and the Arabs have equal right over this land because the promise of the Promised Land was made by a prophet recognised both by Islam and the Jews.

My third advice is American stay at home please. Come to our countries as tourists and technical advisers or trade representatives and not as spies and invaders. We have had enough of the later.

The Great American Dream

THE GREAT AMERICAN DREAM. Everybody is dreaming of it. They love stories from rags to riches.
They want more and more of each thing until in the end they control 50% of the resources of the world. This is mighty big when we think that American forms only 6% of the world population. They are still not satisfied with this. Now they want the world. So they garrison the globe with 170 military bases. They blackmail the world into submission with its huge stock pile of nuclear bombs to bomb Islamic countries back into Stone Age.

Now the Great American Dream is slipping away. Wall street is responsible for it They worship free market economy. What matters is profit. Put morality aside. Leave behind compassion. Let the home owners lose their homes to mortgages. It doesn't matter. They play the game by the rule .Great Obama says he will bring back the Great American Dream. So he told the voters

Why some messages failed

There are messages from the Quraan and the Bible that failed to get across to the people. For example the Quraan 1400 years ago spoke about the Earth and the Moon spinning in an orbit when knowledge of astronomy was at its infancy. Nobody understood it then.Similiarly the Quraan also spoke of something that clings to the wall of the uterus and later develops into a baby. Though medical science had already been started by people like Ibn Sinna (Avinceena) this knowledge somehow had not reached people who studied the Quraanic texts. So Muslims then were not aware of such knowledge. It takes a scientist to understand scientific facts in the Quraan. One such scientist is a Frenchman by the name of Maurice Bucaille who made a study of the Quraan and discovered many more scientific facts which he later used to write a book

It takes a linguist and a historian to understand what Jesus said in the Bible. Rev.Jimmy Swagart said in his debate with Ahmed Deedat Jesus made no reference to the advent of Muhammad in the Bible. But the fact is Jesus did mention Muhammad in the original Hebrew Bible which the Greek translated. The same verse from this original Hebrew Bible is also repeated in the Quraan. Unfortunately the Greek translated everything including all the names! Muhammad became periklytos which later became parakleet and later on the Holy Ghost!

One could write a book on "Why Message Failed"

Quraan Chap 16:123

The Quraan Chapter 16 Verse 123 reads:
"WE have inspired thee O Muhammad with this message: Follow the Creeds of Abraham who turned away from all that is false and was not of those who ascribes divinity to aught besides God"

The Patriarch Abraham is mentioned by all the monotheist religions, Islam Christianity and Judaism.
Muslims mention the name Abraham every time they pray. They ask God to bless Muhammad the way He had blessed Abraham. Muslims believe the more Muhammad is blessed the more power he gets to intercede on behalf of the Muslims on Judgement Day.

From the Verse above, we know that Islam follows the creed of Abraham. Abraham turned away from all that is false. Although he was born in an idol-worshiping community, he himself was not an idol worshiper. In fact he destroyed all the idols but one, in the temple. To a Muslim, Christianity is not of the creed of Abraham because Christians worship images of Jesus and ascribing them divinity status, like the ancestors of Abraham once did.

A Letter to America

Dear America:

It is high time that you stopped using your bombs and started using you brain instead. Stop that war in Afghanistan. You are not fighting against a standing army but against a people who have done you no wrong. Haven't you learned a lesson yet from Vietnam?

From where do you learn morality? From the Greek, from the Romans? Or from the Jews? I want to remind you the Jews are the worst covenant breakers. Open the Bible. Read the Book of Moses and listen to his lamentation about rebellious people, the stiff necks, who break the covenant. Can the Christians say with all honesty, they are not covenant breakers? Look at that born-again Christian in the White House who is a serial liars - a covenant breaker.

The Quraan has a lot to say about covenant breakers, like the Jews and the Christians. Unfortunately I cannot locate the exact verse just yet but the main idea is this: "One who breaks the covenant breaks his connection with God and as such he longer gets God's guidance"

God save America. I mean from itself. I don't want to see it go to the dogs

Evil that Allures

There is so much evil in America. I have spoken this to a Muslim American visiting Malaysia and he agreed. He even added that the most evil of them all is Dick Cheeney. With this in mind some body in America suggested that Jesus should be consulted in the sense that what would he had done if he were still around among human on earth.

Regarding this I think it would be a good idea to put an empty chair in the room where the president and his cabinet deliberate over something. That empty chair represents Jesus and he is there as an observer. Regarding this I would like to quote the Quraan Chap 55 Verse 8

"He to whom the evil of his doings is so alluring that he regards it as good. For verily God lets go astray him that wills to go astray and He guides him that wills to be guided: (55:8)

Though a Muslim, I accept readily those Biblical statements that make sense and I hope my Christian brothers would not reject Quraanic statement where common sense truth is so glaring

2009 Not Getting Any Brighter

1. America invaded Afghanistan ostensibly to capture an alledged perpetrator of 9/11. Imagine bombing a country just to capture a wanted man in his hideout

2. This was followed by a Regime Change in which the Taliban government was ousted. All done to prop up Hamid Karzai. How would America like it if we try to do a regime change in their country

3. The American branded the Taliban ,terrorists to give legitimacy for their military actions. Going by this standard, George Washington was also a terrorist

4. Obama said if elected, he would send more troops to Afghanistan. This president to-be is equally crazy as that John McCain. What does America want actually. Surely they can't be that generous spending millions for the sake of giving the so called democracy to the Afghan.

5. 2009 ain't gonna be any brighter. McCain wants a "Victory" in that illegal war in Iraq. America is indeed terrorizing the planet.

Same As Animals

I like to watch National Geographic that shows animal behavior. We see hundreds of animals stampeeding across the plain in Africa led by one single animal infront. The rest of the pack follows - without thinking much.

I also like to watch CNN and BBC that show human behavior. The whole bunch of countries in the West condemning for example, Iran Nuclear Program. The country at the fore front that leads the condemnation is Israel. Whatever Israel says, others are sure to follow and they always follow in a certain order. America will follow Israel, then Britain will follow America. After that Britain will be joined by Germany, France and possibly Italy.too.

The Christian West follows Israel leadership because Jesus Christ was a Jew, Ehud Olmert 's country man. There is not much difference in human and animal behavior

A Muslim looks at Trinity

I don't understand Trinity. So I asked a Christian to explain it to me. He started by telling me Trinity is like water that exist in three forms, as a solid, liquid and gas. So God can exist in three forms? I was more confused than ever. I did not ask him further because I wanted to spare him the ordeal of explaning something which he probably did not know well either.

At home I tried to figure out whether the three forms - the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost could be super imposed to fuse into one. I could not sort it out. Is Trinity a kind of Committee with God the chairperson and the Son and the Holy Ghost the Committee members? But then the Son and the Holy Ghost were created by God. Why should God appoint them to be on the committee? God is all powerful. He does not need helpers. Neither does He share His power with any one else.

I gave up. I guess I will never understand it. Or does one has to be a Christian first to understand it?

Note: The Christian I spoke to was Sam, a veteran of the first Gulf War. I met him in Malaysia just before 9/11

Senseless Wars

I watched The Second World War on the History Channel and saw Hitler's army invading Poland and France the same way George Bush's army invaded Afghanistan and Iraq - no restrain and no plausible reason. In that story, a commentator called Hitler a mad man and I began to wonder whether George Bush could be called the same. Hitler's wars and Bush's wars were crazy and senseless.

There are other similarities between Bush and Hitler. Both could mobilize their armies at short notice although their were men of under average intelligence. Both came to power not because of their special abilities but because they happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Hitler is long dead and Bush will be out of power in three months. How are they to be remembered? Hitler will be remembered by the gas chamber he constructed in Austria. In Asia Bush will be remembered by his famous saying "You are either with us or with them". As for me, I will remember Bush by the anti-war demo. that I took part

Axis of Evil

The Axis of Evil refers to America that has been bullyinmg Iran for half a century. In 1953 CIA overthrew the legally formed government of Muhammad Mossadeqh . The reason: Mossadeqh tried to nationalize the Iranian oil industry. The excuse for the over throw: Accused Mossadeqh of being a communist whereas he was a nationalist just like Ahmedinejad is today. Then in the 70's the Shah wanted to build ten nuclear power plants to get electricity for its 76 million people. America agreed and so was that little brat, Israel. The Shah was however, deposed and a new government came into power. Today that government tried to revive the nuclear program made under the Shah which the American agreed. This idiot Bush either didn't know or pretended not to know history

I get sick in the stomach every time I think of this. American have been living under an evil regime with an equally evil commander in chief. This is what happen to a nation that only cares for material prosperity and power and they worship these two darn things instead of God !

Isaac or Ishmael?

The Bible says it was Isaac that Abraham put to sacrifice while the Quraan says it was Ishmael. I am putting down points taken from the Quraan and the Bible on this issue.

From the Quraan and the Bible
1. Abraham had two sons, the eldest Ishmael by Hagar and the youngest, Isaac, by Sarah
2. Abraham sent away Hagar and Ismael into the wilderness of Paran (Present day Mecca)
3. There was no water there and Hagar ran between two hills in search of water

From the Bible only
Ismael grew up in Mecca, became an archer, married an Egyptian and found a long line of Arabian tribes.

From the Quraan only
1. God commanded that Ismael be sacrificed but was prevented from doing so
2. Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaabah
3. What Abraham, Hagar and Ismael did became the ritual of Haj
- going around the Kaabah
- running between two hill locks Safar and Marwah
- drinking water from the well of zam zam the spot where Hagar found water
- stoning the devils who tried to dissuade Abraham from carrying out the sacrifice- at jumrat
in Mina

Evidence seems to favor Ismael and not Issac

Why Islamiphobia?

I am trying to figure out why there is Islamiphobia and I have come up with ten possible reasons
1. The West believes Muslims were responsible for 9/11
2. The West believes Islam is a violent religion. The bombings in Madrid, London and Bali are examples
3. The fear that suicide bombers and dirty bombs would show up in America.
4. Angry with the Muslims who say that Jesus is no son of God and that the Bible corrupted by the hands of men.
5. Memory of the hundred year war of the Crusade where Christians tried to take back the Holy Lands from the Muslims
6. Muslims have image problem - always portrayed as unshaven guys with a turban holding AK47
7. Fear that Islam would spread in the West and would grab power one day
8. The West believes Muslim women were oppressed and they would like to champion their cause
9. Islam opposes to materialism of the West
10. The West thinks Islam is trying to convert the World
I can't think of any other reason that justifies Islamiphobia

Playing Archeologist

Sometimes I am an archeologist of sort who enjoys digging up the past as told in the Quraan and the Bible. Some stories are similar, some not so similar and a few are down right different. Today I dug up stories of Noah where his ship ran aground. The Bible says, it happened on Mt.Ararat (Genesis viii:4) but the Quraan says on Mt.Judi (Jabal Judi). Many says the exact location does not matter. But it is fun any way digging up for truth. Ararat comes from an old Assyrian word "Urutun" a region in Assyria where Mt.Judi is located. So both the Bible and the Quraan are right

However another point of contention is the extent of the deluge . The Bible says the deluge covered the whole world but the Quraan says it only covered present day Syria and Northern Iraq. Where there is disagreement, I think the story in the Quraan stays. It is because I consider the Quraan the Latest Testament in line with the New Testament and the Old Testament. One thiong that is not clear how did the flood start. The Quraan Chap.54 Verse 11 says "Water poured down in torrent" and the next Verse says "Water came out from the earth" I don't know whether the Bible says anything about this. As for the "Water came out from the earth" I can only speculate.Could it refer to the filling up of the Mediterranean Valley with water from the Atlantic? This is only my own speculation. Don't quote me.

A Muslim Looks at the Bible

The Bible contains many stories that are similar to the Quraan except for some minor details here and there. Adam and Eve, Exodus, Abraham and Noah are some of the common themes. However it is the concept of God that the Bible differs from the Quraan. God in the Bible is very chatty. Some of the prophets, like Moses used to have long face to face conversation with God as in the following example:
God:............Moses!
Moses:........Here I am
God:............What is that under your arm?
Moses:........My staff
God:............Throw it down on the ground
God can also make announcement from above as when he let it be known that "Israel is my son, my first born". He also walks like human. Adam reported he heard God's foot steps in the garden but was too afraid to look because of the sin he has commited

All these came as a surprise to Muslims because they do not even know what their God looks like. God is unlike any of those things He created. He is unimagineable but reachable to anyone who reaches out to Him

Growth, a Muslim Perspective

I have a one year old grandson who is growing, physically and spiritually with each passing day (By spiritual growth, I include intellectual and emotional growth as well) Who is taking care of all these growths?

As for the physical growth, it is taken care of by the Earth (By God's leave) that provides a constant supply of nutrients to the body until it reaches maturity and at that point ,growth stops and aging begins.

As for spiritual growth, the process is taken care of by God Himself. The "Nutrients" from God is sent to the soul that is implanted in each of us. The soul is a "Devise" that is capable of receiving knowledge from God. This knowledge is of two kinds. First the revealed knowledge which is about God. The second is general knowledge, which is about God's creation. Under this category we have knowledge about mathematics, astronomy, iron making, just to mention a few. This knowledge have to be searched and God will uncover it for you. So goes the saying Search, and you find find it" "Ask and you will be answered" It must be remembered that God is the source of all knowledge.

In years to come my grandson will grow into a man, spiritually developed with enough knowledge of the world around him so that he would lead a life the way God wants it to be lived.
