Muslim View of Jews and Christians

Muslims view Jews and Christians as their former brothers in Islam who abandoned the faith to form break-away religions - Judaism and Christianity. The Quran refers to the Christians and the Jews as
"ahl-Kitab" or People of the Book because of the revelation they received from God - the Torah and the Gospel which are required reading for the Muslims. In fact believing in them constitute an article of faith.

Muslims revered the same prophets as the Christians and the Jews. Moses and Jesus get mentioned more often in the Quran than in the Bible. So if the Christians and the Jews want to see the original teaching of Moses and Jesus, look it up in the Quran.

The Muslims look upon the Jews and the Christians as infidels
