Spiritual Desert

When I was a student at Northern Illinois University, there were seven churches on campus. Every Sunday I liked taking long walks around campus and the nearby town of DeKalb. So did the Americans who sometime took their dogs along. None went to church. Churches were empty. Americans do not take their religion seriously. I think there is a spiritual vacuum in their souls. Some writer calls it spiritual desert, a dry landscape where hardly anything grows.

If Americans do not maintain a regular contact with God, through church attendance or prayer at home how do they develop the ability to discern right from wrong? Guidance can only come from God.It appears American have lost the ability of discernment. Look at what they say about Iran. They are putting forward illogical and irrational arguments against Iran nuclear program
