Genesis

I have just finished reading Genesis and I am making the following observations. Genesis contains all the stories of the Israelite prophets that are also mentioned in the Quran. The stories in Genesis however are long narratives of what each prophet did, down to the last minute details. I am wondering the significance of these detailed events and how they contribute towards making righteous human beings.

There are some disagreement though; Genesis tells as Noah was a farmer who had a vineyard
(Genesis 9.20).He made wine and one day he got so drunk that he became uncovered without a single piece of cloth on him. His two son covered him and when Noah got up, he cursed the children.
To a Muslim it is unthinkable that a prophet got drunk and cursing people after that. Then in
(Genesis 3.8) Adam is said to have heard God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. This line is objectionable to the Muslims because it describes God as having human characteristic - walking.
God is undefineable, unfathomable beyond human perception. We the created beings would never ever imagine God.

In another example (Genesis 18.8) Abraham was visited by two angels who were bringing the glad tiding the birth of a son. Genesis said the angel ate the food that Abraham served. While the Quran says angel are God's creatures that neither eat nor drink
