Senseless Wars

I watched The Second World War on the History Channel and saw Hitler's army invading Poland and France the same way George Bush's army invaded Afghanistan and Iraq - no restrain and no plausible reason. In that story, a commentator called Hitler a mad man and I began to wonder whether George Bush could be called the same. Hitler's wars and Bush's wars were crazy and senseless.

There are other similarities between Bush and Hitler. Both could mobilize their armies at short notice although their were men of under average intelligence. Both came to power not because of their special abilities but because they happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Hitler is long dead and Bush will be out of power in three months. How are they to be remembered? Hitler will be remembered by the gas chamber he constructed in Austria. In Asia Bush will be remembered by his famous saying "You are either with us or with them". As for me, I will remember Bush by the anti-war demo. that I took part
